BUSINESS COACHING SESSIONS FOR POTENTIAL MIGRANTS AND RETURNEES – SAVINGS BANK FOUNDATION FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION (SBFIC)

As part of the German government (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, BMZ) in cooperation with the GIZ is funding support initiatives for potential and returning migrants.
In Ghana, The Savings Bank Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC) and the Ghana Cooperative Credit Unions Association (CUA) are jointly implementing a project to support returning and prospective migrants in their home country on behalf of the German government which is funded by GIZ.

The beneficiaries are undergoing Business coaching facilitated by CDC Consult to gain the requisite skills to start or improve their existing businesses. Upon completion of the training they will be supported with a Migration Business Loan Fund (MBLF) through a successful loan application from the Credit Union Association. (2019 – date)
